The audimetric investigation was done on two groups of patients who had renal failure. The first group consisted of 30 patients on conservative therapy, and the second one of 30 patients on dialysis. In the first group there was reduction of the hearing level by 57,14%, and the reduction of the hearing level in the second group was found in 85% of the cases. Also we have noticed that the most of the patients who were on conservative therapy had a mild hearing loss, but the patients who were on dialysis had a moderate hearing loss. One of the conclusions is that the level of the hearing loss is correlated with lasting of the illness.
